Multivac seal plate repair
Recently, a customer came to us with a worn-out sealing plate from a Multivac R535 machine that was concave and couldn't seal properly. A new one was too expensive. Instead of discarding it, we repaired and refurbished it, which not only saved money but also reduced waste and extended the product's lifespan.
Our experienced technicians specialize in refurbishing worn-out tools, sealing plates, and format tools. During the refurbishment process, we use CNC milling to remove excess material from the plate and make it even and flat. This is particularly important for sealing plates, as a concave plate cannot seal properly and may result in unsatisfactory sealing of tray packaging.
